Rules and Information The rules of the Fantasy Cricket League are straightforward. To enter, simply pick a team from the players list and submit your entry, either online, or at the pavillion. If you submit your entry online, along with your payment of £10.00. Each player on the list will be awarded points for their performances in the teams listed on the right. The Fantasy Team whose players have accumulated the most points by the end of the season wins the League. Points will be awarded according to the scoring system on the right. Prizes Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the league. The prize fund will be set at £230 Prizes are: £100.00* for first place £50.00* for second place and £30.00* for third place. There will also be two spot prizes of £25.00* for the player (not the team) scoring the most Fantasy League points in the 3rd week of the season, and the 3rd last week of the season. In order to win the spot prize, the player must have an entry in the Fantasy Cricket League. The prize will go to the highest scoring player with a Fantasy League entry. Team Selection Each player in the player list has been allocated a value. The only restriction on team selection is that the total value of the players in a team may not exceed £2400. Transfers Each team will be allowed two transfers at the mid-point of the season. The transfer window will be open from Monday 7th July to Friday 11th July. The £2400 restriction on the total value of a team will still apply. As with the initial entry, transfers can be made online. Each transfer costs £1. Cost of Entry The cost of entry will be £10.00. Note: Entries must be submitted and paid for before the first match starts on Saturday 24th May Good luck! * The prize fund level is subject to sufficient entries being received. Please remember that the Fantasy Cricket League is primarily a fundraising activity for the club. In the event of any dispute, the administrator's decision will be final. |
